Isuzu FA Vase First Round Proper Draw

Ashville have been drawn against Yorkshire outfit, Glasshoughton Welfare, for a first ever meeting between the sides.

'Glassy' are members of the North East Counties League and secured their place in the first round draw with a 4-2 home victory against Maltby Main.

The side from West Yorkshire will travel to the Ray Parker Stadium on October 21st for a 3pm kick off. This date was originally filled up by our league game away to Droylsden, this fixture will be rearranged to make way for the Isuzu FA Vase. Details of that rearrangement will be announced in due course.

Villa dispatched of FC St Helens in the previous round with a 5-4 win on penalties after a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes. Michael Dixon saving the final kick before sudden death to see Ashville progress.

We look forward to welcoming Glasshoughton Welfare AFC to Ray Parker Stadium as we look to take one step closer to Wembley and meet a new face along the way.

Ticket details for this game will be announced as soon as possible. In the meantime, save the date!
