Hulley Signs!

Ashville Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Defender, Jake Hulley, from Cammell Laird 1907.

Gary Jones has bolstered a defence which has been excellent of late. The signing of Jake Hulley has come at the perfect time with Ashville facing a hectic schedule as we come into the festive period. With both league and cup fixtures amongst the backlog, squad depth will now be more important than ever for an Ashville side still in contention for silverware on four fronts as of publication.

The Centre-Back joins Ashville after a two year stint at local rivals, Cammell Laird. That was, in fact, Jake's second spell with the Cammell's after he joined the club in 2019 before departing again just one year later to join Prescot Cables. Hulley rejoined the Cammell's after just one season before making the switch to Ashville.

Jake's playing career also includes a season at Airbus UK back in the 2016/2017 campaign. That year Jake would rack up 21 appearances in the Cymru Premier, scoring one goal and receiving only the one yellow card.

Hulley was also a part of the Tranmere Rovers youth system in the formative years of his career and he will be bringing all that experience to Ray Parker Stadium as the club continues its push for silverware under Gary Jones.

We hope you can all join us in welcoming Jake Hulley to the club!
