7/12/19 Maghull 2, Ashville 2 Match report

off to a confident start with some nice passing and comfortable play after 10 minutes Coery Scaresbrick fed a well weighted pass into the path of Josh Malden to slide past the Maghull keeper Ben Donnelly 1 nil to the Villa. Ashville still having most of the play it was in the 36th minute when Josh Malden again taking the ball on his chest then to chip keeper Ben Donnelly with a superb goal making it 2 nil, It was Jamie Kelly in the Ashville goal that made a tremendous save from Wayne Smith, Maghull were awarded a penalty and no. 7 Joel Richardson struck home making it now 2-1. The visitors Ashville had plenty of chances to finish the game off but wasn't to be, late on Ashville were reduced to 10 men when Cy Sullivan alleged to have denied a goal scoring opportunity to the home side therefore shown a red card, with little time left on the clock no. 9 Wayne Smith headed the equaliser the game ended 2-2
