Ashville made the journey over to Hale knowing this game was never going to be easy task against a well organised young side yet Ashville had the chance to go a goal up on the 8th minute when Jay Clare hit the upright from the penalty spot, with Some very good play from both sides the deadlock was finally broken after some great interplay between Sam Hunt & Callum Morrison the unselfish play from hunt was key to the move which resulted in Morrison slotting past George Long the Hale keeper. in the 55th minute both teams were reduced to ten men which on a hot sunny afternoon saw energy levels sapped up. but it was Sam Hunt making the headlines again grabbing the 2nd for Ashville and his 100th competitive goal for the club. 2-0 a good three points away from home.
